Problem
Clean Air Task Force is an NGO doing some of the most important work in the renewable and clean energy space—supporting individuals, companies, communities, and entire industries as they innovate toward a lower-carbon future.
When CATF approached us, their challenge wasn’t a lack of impact—it was how to communicate that impact. Their work spans multiple renewable technologies, regions, and stakeholders, but much of the story lived behind the scenes. They needed a way to bring those efforts to life through compelling, human-centered storytelling that could resonate with policymakers, donors, investors, and the broader public.
The
Solution
We partnered closely with the Clean Air Task Force team to design and produce a documentary-style video series focused on real people driving real change. Rather than creating a single overview video, we built a scalable storytelling framework centered on depth, authenticity, and place.
Our team traveled across six states, capturing seven unique stories that spotlighted the individuals and communities shaping the future of clean energy—from community members and industry leaders to government officials, contractors, and CATF staff working on the ground.
Each story was crafted as a long-form, mini-documentary, allowing viewers to fully understand the challenges, the innovation, and the human impact behind each initiative. From these flagship films, we also created a suite of short-form social videos designed for digital distribution and stakeholder engagement.
The
Impact
The finished series gave Clean Air Task Force a powerful storytelling engine—one that could be deployed across social media, presentations, investor and donor outreach, and internal communications. By highlighting diverse voices from multiple regions, CATF was able to clearly demonstrate the real-world impact of its work while reinforcing its leadership in the clean energy space.
Most importantly, the videos helped translate complex renewable energy efforts into emotionally resonant stories—making the mission tangible, relatable, and shareable. The result was a library of cinematic content that continues to support CATF’s outreach, advocacy, and fundraising efforts while amplifying the communities and individuals at the heart of the clean energy transition.
