Finding highly skilled, mission-aligned individuals in the oceanic technology space is extremely difficult. R2 Sonic needed a way to attract the right people—those who not only had the technical expertise, but who also understood the culture, expectations, and values of the organization. Traditional job postings alone couldn’t convey what it truly feels like to work at R2 Sonic.

We collaborated with the R2 Sonic team to create a compelling recruitment-focused video centered on real employee experience. Rather than a traditional corporate overview, the video followed a team member sharing his personal journey—what drew him to R2 Sonic, what the work environment is like, what he enjoys most about the role, and what is expected of employees on the team.
The story was designed to be honest, human, and relatable—allowing prospective candidates to clearly understand the culture and determine if the role and company were the right fit before ever applying.
